A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question. Your current microwave's dimensions are as follows: 11-3/16" x 23-25/32" x 12-9/32" (HxWxD). The dimensions of the JES1145SHSS, which you are interested in, are: 12" x 20-5/16" x 15-5/8" (HxWxD). A:AnswerHello,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We're deeply sorry about your microwave and we believe it may have been arcing. Arcing happens when metal or metal-trimmed cooking utensils are placed inside of the microwave oven. Please make sure dishes with gold, silver or platinum bands are not being used as they could cause arcing as well. We do not recommend ceramic dishware unless they're marked "microwave-safe". In the event of a hole in the microwave’s cavity wall, the damage is non-repairable and you should discontinue use of the product. It is also recommended that the microwave be replaced if arcing continues to occur. If you have more questions let us know. Have a great day.

A:AnswerHey there, thanks for reaching out. It appears as if someone has accidentally activated the child lock. To turn this off, press and hold the clear/off pad for about three seconds. On some models you press and hold the "5" and "7" simultaneously for three seconds. We're sorry about that and we hope this helps! - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi,
Good question! We appreciate you reaching out to us. It's a pleasure being able to help you with this model. We found that this microwave can not have the volume muted or adjusted and we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Thank you for your time and have a great day!

A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question. We require a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse for this microwave. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out with any further questions. -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerThe depth from front to the wall is 17 1/2 inches. The cable has "bendy" cord end at the entrance to the oven cabinet so it does no stick out with a hard black paddle over the cord like previous models.
