Hi Rick - Thanks for reaching out to us. The microwave requires a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. Over-the-range models should be on a dedicated circuit. If properly installed, a qualified service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis. We encourage you to contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance or conveniently schedule an appointment online: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/service/ - We apologize for any inconvenience.
