The microwave is easy to use. The model has the sensory detection that helps you reheat or cook the food properly. Installation was easy because the store had the technicians come out and install it. The installers arrived on the day and time they were supposed to. The installers were friendly and knew what they were doing. They cleaned up after the installation and went down their way. The microwave has been installed for a few weeks now and is working fine. We are happy with the purchase.

I bought this same microwave in 2018 after I flooded in Harvey. Use it a few times a month. When storms hit Houston April 2024, power went on & off a few times & the microwave I had blitzed. Turned off & on the breaker & it got a little better - let me turn on the fan & stove light - but that was it. Next time electricity blinked it went out & would not come back so I bought this one. I have since read that it is very likely the fuse SO if you have a problem, start there. (I couldn't take it down myself & put it back so financially made more sense to get a new one &I donated the old one & hope it will be useful to someone.) Looks great with the matching refrigerator & stove out of the same line.

We first purchased this microwave in December of 2022, but had to replace it (with the same model) because it was not working properly. The interior fan never came on a few times, causing excessive condensation, and the inside started to rust/chip at the back seam. Like others, I also noticed the door is significantly lighter in weight. Within less than a month of purchase, the door handle was chipped. I find this disappointing because we make an effort to take good care of our appliances, and our prior microwave lasted many, many years. Since we replaced this G.E. model 4 months ago (with the same model), all has been good so far. It is a pretty all-white model. Hoping for the best!

Quite an upgrade from a 20 year old Quasar. Had never installed an over the stove microwave, and it was fairly simple. Takes a little bit of time, but instructions were clear. Make sure you have a 3/16", 1/2", 5/8" and 1-1/2" drill bit on hand. Only complaint is one I had read in a couple reviews...... can't nuke for less than 1 minute, though I'm thinking the "melt" button may solve that problem. I often melt butter and that only takes 20-30 seconds. Will have to play with that.

Its incredibly quiet. Very easy installation. Door opens easily, doesn't require any force to open. Love it! Great price on sale for $219!

Installed today, no reason to not be 5, yet. Ive not actually used it yet. *Nice clean look. *Easy to read panel, but not backlit. *Clock readout is a brilliant white light (doh! over my stove with a green readout! Might look to apply a smoke film to tamp it down.) *Large turntable fills the available floor space. *Surface light has 2 settings. *Has express cook (easy start) buttons . *Has a timer. *Installer adjusted vent to exhaust up/out the front top appropriately. *Two speed exhaust fan's noise seems comparable to the amout of air its putting out, though I always wonder about tech these days - can we not make highspeed fans more quiet? Is it a case of poorly designed cavitating fanblades? Or is it the motor, or a combo? *Door opens/ closes with little effort compared to my last one which is a nice change... Im not sure how I feel about the door weight... feels chinsey/cheap/too-light... we'll see. ***Interesting feature, I need to read more about: label says "Vent Fan May Start Automatically". Installation was a breeze... ALTHOUGH, because I work nights, I carefully waited to select a date a week in the future that specifically allowed for the 12-8pm timeframe. I receive a message yesterday narrowing the time to 12-4pm. I received an automated phone call yesterday confirming 12-4pm. BUT woke up to a 0900 phone call today saying they were 25min away!!!! Then looked at my phone to see an additional text reminding me to be ready 12-4pm. So I scrambled out of bed, got dressed, and cleaned up the kitchen cabinet and counter as best I could with almost 25min.

Love this microwave. We replaced thebone that came with our new build from 2017. This is the same model but they uograded the inside turn table and vents. Excellent improvements!

I’m a little disappointed with this microwave/ vent hood. The light under the microwave makes the metal plate near it VERY hot even while set on the dimmest setting. It actually burned my hand. The light is not bright at all. It’s similar to a nightlight. I’m going to look into changing the light bulb to a LED. The other problem is that the mesh metal vent filter falls out often. There seems to be no way to make it securely fit the opening of the vent. The mesh filter is very light weight and seems cheap. I miss my higher powered microwave. This one is only 1000watts where my old one was 1200 watts. Now I have to adjust my recipes for microwave cooking rice or frozen vegetables.

Installation fast. Microwave works great. But we’re missing an owners manual that did not come with it. Can we get one?

After researching several makes and models, I chose this one despite several critical reviews of the panel visibility and "tinny" door feel. I disagree that the type is hard to read, but my kitchen is well lit and I have decent eyesight. I do agree the door is noticeably less solid and heavy than our previous 2010 Profile model. We also notice the power seems less strong so we have to cook things a bit longer. The many features are convenient, so far we've only used less than half. I like the sleeker look, though slightly mismatched to our 2010 Profile range. Overall, we're pleased with the look and functions for the price.

It's a low cost microwave that's white and the size I needed. Installed in January 2023. Now six months later in June, the handle is cracking on the side, otherwise it worked just fine and installed easily as a DIY project. I read the reviews before buying and saw others had reported this problem. I thought maybe the buyers were too aggressive when using the handle to open the door. But I was wrong! Being aware of this issue, I was careful to avoid stressing the handle by jerking it to open the door, but it didn't matter. I used the microwave with normal force at least once a day for six months before seeing the cracking. I'm hopeful the one year warranty will help, but the GE Warranty webpage won't let me submit my claim (6/28/23). Will the replacement handle be the same handle? If it cracks again after replacement, will it be covered by a 12 month warranty from replacement date or just the remaining 6 months? What happens if it cracks after the warranty expires? Additionally, the LED lights are VERY bright at night. Put clear tape on them and used a blue permanent marker to reduce the brightness.

The microwave itself seems kind of fragile what I mean. When closing the door it seems like it's going to shatter the glass or something I've never had that with the microwave before ever. You have to be very gentle with it to feel safe with it. Also I wasn't very happy with the install. They were only here a few minutes but They didn't clean behind the old microwave so stuff started coming down from behind. They also gouched my wall and didn't say anything.

My old GE microwave lasted 24 years. Looking forward to good service from this new one. Love the sensor cooking. Still a good brand name.

Recently moved into a new house and needed to replace the microwave that came with the house. This microwave has been amazing so far. Lots of smart settings and a smaller profile than the one I replaced.

Easy to install and works great. I like that I can shut off the display.

We recently replaced our GE OTR microwave oven. The old one just kept running anytime the door was microwave's door was close. It was about 3 years old. Replaced it with a similar one, and purchased the warranty plan. Great experience at Best Buy. Friendly and very knowledgeable sales person. We have purchased other appliances at Best Buy and have always had a good experience.

Look nice and durable easy to use and look good in my kitchen.
