A: Hi Interested - Thank you for your interest in a new GE over-the-range microwaves. Our over-the-range microwaves are designed to be vented in 1 of 3 ways. They can be vented directly out the back, through the top (which would require a vent in the upper cabinet) or if you don't have the means to vent the unit outside, they can be vented internally (recirculating) using a charcoal filter. A: Hi - Thank you so much for your interest in this beautiful fingerprint resistant over-the-range microwave oven. This model offers a single 30 watt halogen bulb that sits between the two grease filters on the underside of the unit. It offers a bright and night light setting. This model offers three venting options. It can be vented to the outside through the top or back. It can also be converted to internal, recirculating venting. With this venting method, the blower is turned and a charcoal filter is installed. The air is then directed through the charcoal filter to remove odors and grease prior to be vented back into your kitchen. We recommend the charcoal filter be replaced every 6 months and this model does have a Filter Reset light to remind you to do so. We do hope you choose GE for your home. Vikki@GEA

Modernly Beautiful!
I luv luv this microwave. The first thing you notice is that it doesnt have a big bulky handle on the front. It is modern and aesthetically pleasing. Love that you can have a timer going and cook something and the timer keeps going. Very happy with this purchase.

Stainless Steel Microwave
Great over the range microwave! Works as advertised. However, this is not fingerprint resistant. Don't let the phrase fool you. Horrible delivery service. Messed up my property during the delivery. I informed their claims dept & have gotten nowhere. I will no longer purchase appliances from Best Buy as long as RXO is responsible for delivering to my area.
