“I often go into my dimly lite kitchen at night to use my microwave. I can’t see anything on the display panel except the clock. I have to turn the full kitchen light on to see what I’m doing. Is there a way to light the panel? Fumbling in the dark.”

We are very sorry to hear of the issues you have experienced with seeing in your kitchen at night and apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. While our microwave display panels are not backlit and do not illuminate, our over-the-range microwaves do have a cooktop light underneath that can be turned on. Press the Surface Light on your control panel to turn the surface light on or off. Your microwave's Surface Light has the option of Off, Bright, and a Night light option that would be helpful for you! We sincerely hope that this information helps. All the best! -Eliza@GEA
