Hello Dennis! Thanks for reaching out to us and for your loyalty to our microwaves. We're sorry that the new unit is not installing correctly. We see how this can be frustrating. These two model numbers are the same microwave. If you are replacing your old microwave with the same model, then it's still recommended to use the new hardware that came with the unit to install the microwave. If you bought a different model, it would have came with a new kit as well that you will have to use to install the microwave. This includes using all of the new hardware that came with it.
