When the model is manufactured, the extra number is placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card only. - Answer I understand your question as a programmable surface light ( light facing range below) to turn on/off - the answer is no. The light turns on/off by manually pressing the surface light button, there are multiple, I think 3, brightnesses.

- Answer Hi Eric - We suggest GE - 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Model JNM7196SKSS. This model is assembled at the factory for recirculating (non-vent) similar to your current model JNM1541SN1SS. Model JVM7195SKSS is the same except assembled at the factory for outside venting. Conversion to recirculating would be required. We certainly appreciate your loyalty! Sue

QuestionHow can you say it will blow out vents at top of door when there are no vents. Your service is unacceptable in getting someone out to fix this and the stove installation - over 3 weeks for a new service call on new appliances. You need to fix service.

- Answer Hi Yotel - The microwave oven is designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: 1. Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). 2. Outside Exhaust (Horizontal). 3. Recirculating (Non-vented ductless). If the model is converted to recirculating and not vented to the outside, the air will be recirculated through a disposable charcoal filter (included) that helps remove smoke and odors. You will feel airflow from vents located on top just above the door. If your cabinets are deeper than 13", you may not be able to see the vents. We suggest to view the illustration on pages 11 of the Installation Instructions at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-40765.pdf - Also, we are sorry to hear of the service delay.
