A:AnswerHi - We appreciate your interest in a new GE over-the-range microwave. The Steam Clean feature is a convenient and easy-to-use feature to help remove cooked or dried on food soils from the interior of the microwave by generating steam to re-hydrate dried spills/splatters making them easier to remove.
To use - 1) Press the Steam Clean button. 2) Fill a microwave safe bowl with 1/4 cup of water. 3)
Press Start. - Once the cycle is complete, carefully remove the turntable and turntable support and wipe out the inside of the oven cavity with a paper towel or soft cloth and that's it.
One more way to allow you to spend less time in the kitchen cleaning.
We do hope you choose this lovely GE microwave for your home.
Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerHello- Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The microwave isn't going to have all the same great features as your Advantium but it will still fit in the same place. However, the mounting hardware is not the same and you'd need to install the mounting bracket that comes with the microwave to install it. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA
A:AnswerHello. Thanks for reaching out about your microwave! We understand that not being able to see your food while cooking is inconvenient, and we apologize for that. It is normal for the light to be dim while operating your unit at power levels other than high. If you change the power setting, the light should adjust. We hope this helps, and if you have any additional questions, please reach out. We are happy to help!- Kianna@GEA

A:AnswerHey there, and thanks for reaching out! We appreciate your interest in a new microwave, and know how important finding one to fit your space is. The model you asked this question on, JVM7195SKSS, is an above-the-range microwave with dimensions of 16 5/16 H x 29 7/8 W x 15 9/16 D. If you are interested in another Monogram microwave, we unfortunately don’t currently have a replacement comparable to your old model that will also fit your existing opening; we regret any inconvenience this may cause. If you’d like to view some options and see if making changes to your space to accommodate a new unit would work, we do have models like ZSB9121NSS (20 ¼” H x 26 ¾” W x 21 1/2 “ D) and ZEB1227SLSS (13 5/8” H x 24 1/2 “ W x 19 ¾” D, compatible with a built in kit under ZX2130SLSS that would bring the width to 30”) that may be a good fit for your needs. We do advise using the trim that comes with a new microwave, rather than the existing trim. You may need to inquire with the dealer you purchase the unit from regarding installation. We hope this information is helpful, and are glad to assist if you have any other concerns or inquiries. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerGreetings,
We appreciate you reaching out and will be glad to answer your question. The awesome thing about our over-the-range microwaves is that they are all designed to fit into 30" cabinet openings. This makes choosing a replacement a breeze. The bump out kit that is compatible with this model is JX15BUMPWW/BB. If this is the model kit you currently have, then it will work. Thanks for asking. Have a wonderful day! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHey,

A:AnswerWe truly appreciate your interest in our microwaves and are happy to help! The JVM6175DKWW microwave is still being manufactured, and would be identical to your current JVM6175DKWW microwave. You are welcome to contact us any time with questions you may have as we are always here to help! -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerHello there - Thank you so much for your interest in this microwave! We're happy to help out. This over-the-range microwave does has the option for recirculating (non-vented ductless) ventilation. It would require the use of a Charcoal Filter Kit, which is included in the purchase of the microwave. You would just need to follow the steps for installing for recirculating ventilation on pages 20 through 23 of the installation instructions: https://files.bbystatic.com/D8505xASz7TWU7wUCScjfA%3D%3D/873749db-f7cc-47f6-a6e6-85f440aa17e5.pdf. We hope this answer suits you! Please let us know if you have any further questions - we're always glad to assist. Take care, Kelsey@GEA
A:AnswerHello there, we appreciate you reaching out to us. We're sorry to say we don't have any microwaves with a backlit control pad. We apologize for any inconvenience and we're wishing you the best. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi there,
We're glad to answer your question. It is recommended to have at minimum 30" from the top of the stove to the bottom of the cabinet. The microwave have a height of 16 5/6". If you subtract the 30 from the 16 5/6, then at minimum the distance from the bottom of the microwave to the stove will be 13 1/6". Depending on your setup it could be different. We hope this helps. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi - We have wonderful news. All of our over-the-range style microwaves fit in a 30" wide opening. We do recommend using the installation hardware and mounting bracket that is included with the new model. Your existing model is a 2.1 cubic foot capacity with sensor cooking functions. We would recommend taking a look at the PVM9215SKSS or the JVM7195SKSS to have similar capacity and sensor cooking functionality. Please reach out to us again if you have additional questions. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
