- Answer Hi Lino- All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions. Model JVM7195EKES (Slate) is a great choice. It is also available in Stainless Steel- JVM7195SKSS. This model is factory assembled for outdoor venting but can be converted to recirculating (non-vent). JNM7196SKSS (Stainless Steel) is the same model except factory-assembled for recirculating (non-vent). It is not available in Slate. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA

- Answer Yes. It has a paper template for positioning and drilling the holes necessary to mount the included bracket. It also includes the screws and bolts you will need.

QuestionDoes this microwave have a timer? The picture shows a timer but the specs say no timer. It seems like it sholuld have a timer if it has a clock.

- Answer Replaced an 8-year old model of this microwave with this newer model. The dimensions were the same for the most part. However the back bracket needed to be replaced as the mounting notches are a little different. On the top, the left mounting screw was almost exact to the old model, but the right screw is a little further to the right.

QuestionI just purchased JVM6175EKES less than a year ago. I will only upgrade to this JVM7195EKES if I can use the same mounting bracket (I have the new horizontal style bracket) and the same holes in my cabinet (it already looks like swiss cheese)? Thanks.

The standard installation calls for a cabinet depth of 13” max., but a 15” cabinet depth can work if you use the additional installation kit, JX15BUMPWW or JX15BUMPWW. - Answer Hi Bristol! Thanks for reaching out! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. - With that being said, the new model that you've got your eye on here will make for a wonderful replacement! - Answer We just replaced a 23 year old GE model with this one and it has been great. The prior model was a space saver model, so this one is a little larger in height and depth, but very reasonable. Would highly recommend!

All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model.
