A:AnswerHi Lino- All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions. Model JVM7195EKES (Slate) is a great choice. It is also available in Stainless Steel- JVM7195SKSS. This model is factory assembled for outdoor venting but can be converted to recirculating (non-vent). JNM7196SKSS (Stainless Steel) is the same model except factory-assembled for recirculating (non-vent). It is not available in Slate. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerYes. It has a paper template for positioning and drilling the holes necessary to mount the included bracket. It also includes the screws and bolts you will need.
A:AnswerHi there, Nruther - Great question! This microwave has a Timer On/Off feature. This operates as a minute timer and can be used at any time, even when the oven is operating. We hope this helps clear some confusion. Thanks for considering GE Appliances! -Mikayla@GEA

Approximate Product Dimensions (WxHxD) (in.) 29 3/4 in x 16 1/2 in x 15 1/2 in. See Quick Specs at the following link for more details: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=JVM7195SK_EK_C3.pdf - When the model is manufactured, the extra number (2,4) is placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. A:AnswerReplaced an 8-year old model of this microwave with this newer model. The dimensions were the same for the most part. However the back bracket needed to be replaced as the mounting notches are a little different. On the top, the left mounting screw was almost exact to the old model, but the right screw is a little further to the right.
A:AnswerHey there,
Thank you so much for asking about this model! This model can be installed into a cabinet and have its side exposed. The sides are in a finished state to where exposure would not become an issue. We hope this helps. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, this is an excellent question and we appreciate you reaching out to us. The standard installation calls for a cabinet depth of 13” max., but a 15” cabinet depth can work if you use the additional installation kit, JX15BUMPWW or JX15BUMPWW. We hope that's what you needed to see and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHello. We appreciate your interest in this over-the-range microwave! While this model does feature an electronic touch control panel and a cooktop light to illuminate the cooking surface below the microwave, it does not have back lighting on the control panel itself. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and will certainly let our Cooking Products Design team know of your interest in that feature for this model; we always like to know what features our consumers want and appreciate your insight. If you have any other concerns or questions, we're glad to help - all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello there! Thanks for your question and loyalty to our microwaves. We found that this unit, model number JVM7195SKSS, would be a good replacement for your current unit. We hope this helps. Emily@GEA
A:AnswerHi Bristol! Thanks for reaching out! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. - With that being said, the new model that you've got your eye on here will make for a wonderful replacement! Hope this helps! -Michael@GEA
A:AnswerWe just replaced a 23 year old GE model with this one and it has been great. The prior model was a space saver model, so this one is a little larger in height and depth, but very reasonable. Would highly recommend!
A:AnswerHi there Marty,
