Q: QuestionWe currently have a GE 1.9 Cu ft model#JNM7196sK3SS unit died. That same model is currently on back order. I see the same size unit that is also a GE but model #JVM7195SKSS seems to be more readily available. Will the mounting bracket fit both units?

• A:Answer No, it is slightly different. The mounting bracket slots is about 1/4 - 1/2 inches to the left. Installing the mounting bracket that comes with the new microwave is easy to install.

• A:Answer As long as you have a 30 inch opening it fits, you may need to drill new holes for bolts which I had to.

Q: QuestionThe slate microwave that I am replacing has the timer lights green. I ordered a different ge slate microwave, and the lights are a very bright white that doesn’t match the stove lights that this sits over. What color are the lights on this version?

• A:Answer Hello – thanks for reaching out about this over-the-range microwave. When microwave cooking, the microwave door can be opened mid-cycle. However, doing this is harder on the appliance over its life. Using the Start/Pause button or waiting until the timer expires to open the microwave door is the best for the product life. Q: QuestionLooking to replace Spacemaker HVM1759 DM1 1.7 Cu ft. It just fits in the wall cutout which has a height of 16.1". Will your 1.7 or 1.9 cu ft model fit in its place even though the Installation Guide says 16.5" is needed?

Q: QuestionHi Guys, I have existing GE JVM1870SK02 Microwave and I need to replace with this. I am not looking to drill additional wholes on top to match wholes. Can I replace this microwave and what are specs differences b/w my existing microwave GE JVM1870SK02 ?

Q: QuestionNeed to replace a GE JVM 3670SK06 over range microwave vented outside with a filler kit to cover the 36" opening - not sure kit would work for a newer model. May need replacement all with installation. Pls suggest a good replacement for all and $ cost.

As you have discovered our current models fit in a 30" wide opening. You will also need the JX36BSS filler kit to fill in the additional 3" opening on each side of the microwave. Q: Questionwe are replacing our obsolete model # jvm1850sh rear top venting which we turned around to vent out the front .We'd like to replace it with a GE jnm7196skss which has a recirculating fan. Would this work for us? Thank you
