- Answer No, our over-the-range microwaves can't be built-in or enclosed. Doing so would eliminate the surface light and venting system. Attempting to install this style microwave in this manner would void your warranty and could cause irreparable damage to the microwave.

QuestionWhy in the JVM3106RF3SS microwave oven is the reheat button not programmed to give the item rather than 1h, 2h,3, etc.? This is a terrible change or you might label it an improvement. Now one needs to refer to the manual to reheat something. I am 83 yrs.

QuestionWill this be a good replacement fit for an 8 year old Samsung model # ME18H704SFS Over the Range microwave? It looks like the width should be OK, but not sure about height and depth (this current Samsung we have measures 29 7/8" W x 17/16" H x 15 6/16 D)

- Answer The oven measures 29 7/8W x 15 3/4H x 15 5/8D. Sizes of over the over the range units are fairly standard. Keep in mind the inside of this microwave is black and both the oven bulb and surface light bulb are fairly dim. Otherwise I've been very satisfied with this unit.

QuestionIn Feb of 2015 I purchased a JVM7195DF1BB and it has stopped working, from a power surge I believe. Will the newest model, JVM7195DKBB, fit the same bracket already there? I'd rather not change that if not necessary. Thank you!

- Answer That’s definitely a Best Buy question, and even they may not know. However, as the current bracket is at least (8) years old, I would buy a new bracket. When the new microwave is installed, you’ll find out immediately if the old bracket works or not. You’ll have a new bracket ready if necessary, and can return it without a problem if you don’t use it.
