The machine has an automatic sensor to determine the amount of water for the amount of clothes put into the washer. It seems to do a very good job!

To obtain the average water usage of our washers, look at the water factor (WF or iWF. The iWF is a calculation defined by the Department of Energy (DOE) and all manufacturers are required to publish this information. Going forward we will no longer provide minimum and maximum gallons used. We can only provide the average by using the formula below. Do not submit a referral for min/max gallons used. For Average Water Usage, calculate: Water Factor x Capacity = Average Water Usage Hope this helps you out. Geoff@GEA
