This appliance should be connected to an individual, properly-grounded branch circuit with 208V or 240V single-phase 60 Hz electrical service and should be protected by 30-amp time-delay fuses or circuit breakers. NOTE: Not approved for 120-volt operation. This appliance is manufactured with neutral connected to the frame. The 240/208V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. Power cord is sold separately. Choose a UL rated 120/240V, 30A with 3 or 4 prongs per the house receptacle. See page 8 of the Installation Guide: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-16781-3.pdf - We’re glad to have you in the family. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Enjoy! Sue
