This can be connected using either. UL rated 120/240V, 30A with 3 or 4 prongs. We recommend identifying the plug type as per the house receptacle before purchasing line cord. The depth is 27 3/8 inches but will also need to allow for venting. If your dryer is approved for installation in an alcove or closet, it will be stated on a label on the dryer back. We suggest checking the installation guide for more specific details before your install.
