“Is the temperature preset or do I have to set it? It reads 0 when plugged in. Should I leave it at Zero.?”

Hi Mike - Thanks for choosing GE Model FUF21DLRWW and welcome to the family! The default temperature setting is 0F to provide satisfactory food storage temperatures. This is the recommended setting.
