“I'm installing a single 24" electric wall oven. The installation shows I can install the electrical junction box 5" below the runners? If I do this the oven conduit wires will go down the rear of the oven. Is this okay? It won't be hot for the wire?”

Hey there, and thanks for reaching out! We know how important getting your wall oven installation correct is, and we’re glad to assist. After reviewing the Installation Instructions and Quick Specs for model JRS06BJBB (as you didn’t mention your exact model number, please make sure you are viewing the correct instructions for your specific model), we can advise the Junction Box should be either 5” MIN below the cutout floor or 44” MIN above cutout floor. It should also be a minimum of 23 7/8” above the runners. If you’d like to view additional details, as well as diagrams, the Installation Instructions and Quick Specs are both available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. Electrical connections and details are also discussed in those documents, if you’d like to review that information as well.
