Yeah but the standard hose is not long enough for the unit to fit on the ground, and reach the window properly

The hose does not have any mechanism to stay inside the wring latch.

Hi Matt. Thanks for reaching out to us! The Air Conditioner must be vented to the outside. There is not an exhaust hose extension for this unit. Do not use a longer hose or extend the hose included with the Air Conditioner or the unit will not cool properly and will overheat. We hope that this helps. Stay safe.

The manual says not to use a longer hose or extend the provided hose or the unit will overheat.
