• Yes. While there is only one set of controls, you can use both at the same time, and the timer also. Only one timer however. The screen gets divided to show information about everything you are doing.

• Please clarify -- if you are using the oven and have the timer on for 40 minutes, can you set the microwave "timer" for 30 seconds at the same time. Or does "one timer" mean the microwave will not be on a timer if you are already using it for the oven. Thank you for your clarification
