“In reading reviews on any of the ovens GE makes, specially gas. The biggest complaint is the amount of noise the fan makes. Is this common”

Hi Julie- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest! The oven cooling fan for the electronic controls is controlled by a thermostat. The cooling fan may run throughout the entire bake cycle and continue even when the oven is off. This is considered normal operation. When running, the fan will emit a low hum sound.
