No, wall ovens do not vent to the outside. There is an internal vent on wall ovens. Wall ovens do not vent to the outdoors; they vent within the room. The vent is below the door to keep electronics cooler, improve appearance, and provide a better door seal at the top. Joyce@GEAppliances
