Hi - We suggest to check the settings. This model has a Deep Rinse option that when selected, will extend the cycle time. Also, an unbalanced load may cause a longer spin cycle. If an out-of-balance condition is detected by the washer, the Spin light will blink during the remaining portion of the cycle and will stay illuminated for a short time after cycle completion. When this occurs, the washer is taking actions to correct the out-of-balance condition and complete the cycle normally. In some cases, the washer may not be able to balance the load and spin up to full speed. If you notice the load is more wet than normal at the end of the cycle, redistribute the load evenly in the wash basket and run a Drain & Spin cycle. See page 9 of the Owner's Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90581-3.pdf - The motor ramps up (speeds up) and coasts (slows) down numerous times during the 1st spin cycle. This routine is normal and allows water and suds to be pumped out to the drain. The motor will ramp up (speed up) through multiple stages as it achieves final spin speed. Smaller loads will reach the final spin speed faster. Larger loads will take longer to reach the final spin speed. When the spin cycle is complete, the basket will coast (slow) down until it stops. A knocking (metallic knock, double knock, or metallic clunk) noise during agitation or spin is a normal sound. This sound occurs when the washer transitions from a stop or paused state to running in spin. It happens several times a cycle after the speed changes or pauses and is caused by two components in the drive system engaging quickly.
