“1 comment & 1 question: The GE reps claim that the machine is quiet. It roars like a freight train during the spin. Tried several cycles & all seem to go from wash to spin then done -- no rinse. Do I have a defective machine?”

Make sure that you press the button on the top that says rinse, frabric softener. I think that it says extended rinse. It is on the top center. I am out of town and don't have it in front of me. Mine works well. Have Best Buy come out
