A:AnswerHi Clb1051, thanks for your question! This is something that cannot be altered on this model as there is no end of cycle signal for the washer or the dryer. We hope this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael@GEA
A:AnswerHi Norman! We appreciate your question. The drain hose is approximately 70" long. Insert the drain hose in a standpipe with an inside diameter of at least 1-1/2". We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
A:AnswerHello Christy - Thank you for reaching out about this amazing laundry center. We are always happy to help you get to know your new appliances.
Most of our washers will automatically drain if the lid is not closed within about 15 minutes after it fills. This is a safety precaution we have added to our units.
To achieve a longer soak, we recommend closing the door to the washer and pausing the unit after it fills, then restarting when you have soaked long enough.
Keep in touch! - JB
A:AnswerHi Keeko- Thanks for choosing GE Model GUD27ESPMDG! We are sorry to hear the dryer does not heat after the move and glad to help. The dryer should be on a separate 208V/240V electrical outlet. An electric dryer may run with a partial voltage of 110 volts, but it will not heat unless it has 208/240V, 30 amps. The circuit breaker could have partially tripped, even if it does not look as though it has. Turn off the breaker to the dryer and turn it back on to restore full power. Check the circuit breaker/fuses. The dryer requires a 30 amp dual breaker or two 30 amp fuses. A:AnswerHi Mark - The dryer offers Auto Cottons Cycle, Auto Easy Care Cycle and Auto Delicates Cycle. The automatic dry feature on GE dryers is designed to help prevent clothes from over drying. By continually sensing the temperatures of the air in the dryer drum, the thermostat controls the heat source (heater coils or gas valve) and the advancement of the dryer timer. When the laundry is wet, the air is cool in the dryer. As the load begins to dry and the drum air is warm, the heat turns off. As the air cools, the control activates the heat to come on again. This off and on cycling may happen a number of times (depending on the fabric, load size, and cycle selector setting). The cycle selector advances (when the heat is off) until it automatically turns off dryer. The dryer will not continue to tumble with no heat. It has a separate Dewrinkle cycle (20 minutes) for removing wrinkles from items that are clean and dry or that are very lightly damp. Thanks for viewing GE! Keep in touch - Sue
A:AnswerI have two possible problems:
1-you have too much lint in the housing, happens a lot with dryers
2-the heating element is no longer heating up
Hope this helps
A:AnswerMy dryer does get hot and it dries a load of clothes, bed linens or towels in much less than 90 minutes. More like 40 minutes. I just set the dryer dial to "optimum" and it seems to work perfectly.
A:AnswerI think it is quieter than my old full size washer/dryer. The only thing I dislike is that it does not have an alert to let me know it is finished.

A:AnswerI have yet to use it because we got it for work and are just having it installed this week. We were waiting on a plumber.
I will for sure check that out to see if it does it as well.
