Hi Shirl- We do not recommend installing the unit on carpet. The floor must be a hard surface. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anytime you can get a washer and dryer on a floor that is not carpet is always best. It vinyl floor keeps water some what trapped so it doesn't leak everywhere. If removing the floor isn't an option then yes, the carpet will be fine.
