“This unit is for my elderly mother with no internet at her home. Can this unit be run like an old-fashion window air conditioner without internet (no bells and whistles)? Can we just install and plug it in and turn it on?”

• Connectivity can add convenience to the experience of using the air conditioner, but you can certainly choose to use the air conditioner without connecting if that’s better for your mother! The air conditioner can be operated without connecting to Wi-Fi. -Sarah@GEAppliances

• Yes you can use the buttons on the display or the remote. Easy to operate i have not set up internet connection on my units
