This air conditioner works great. I read all the reviews before making the decision to purchase it and I’m very happy with it… It is cooling my house very well considering the size and I would highly recommend it. It’s easy to use and I do like the remote.

This was an accidental purchase. I ordered a unit that sounds like refridge. After I ordered it, was having buyers remorse...read the reviews in more detail, was even more unhappy, realized it wasn't the wifi model and purchased through paypal and didn't want the hassle of cancelling after talking to my daughter and office mate. So was going to take it and be happy. It arrived damaged. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I had the LG model in my cart on Amazon but wanted to see what BB offered. The GE was the only 8000 BTU model they had. I didn't even see this model in searching initially. My daughter pulled up the reviews..4.7, impressive. Learned it was a new model for 2024, pulled the trigger at $30 more and couldn't be happier, installed in 15 minutes, quieter than the 5000 BTU model it replaced (needed the larger BTU unit for the space, the smaller one wasn't cutting it, especially after that last heat wave). The lowest the thermostat read with the old one was 77°, this one has it at a dreamy 70°. Extremely happy and can control it with my phone as I'm leaving the office or wake up to come down. I really do recommend this unit, hopefully many years of enjoyment.

This A/C unit has a different look from others. My grandson put it in for me and he really liked it. So far, so good. This GE cools nicely. I can even feel it in my kitchen. It’s so much quieter than others I have had over the years (this is important to me) I like that it has Smart capabilities. I haven’t played with that at the moment. I was just so thrilled how much cooler and quieter it is. Has been running, non-stop, for several weeks now. It’s been in the 90’s, with high humidity in Pa! So, I guess you could say, It’s a winner, so far!

This AC definitely blows cold air. I would recommend removing the drain plug so you don't smell the water. If you're gonna use the Wi-Fi feature, make sure you have a much update WI. Fi, such as Wi-Fi 6.

Im pretty sure my room is a bit larger then 350sq feet but this AC unit cools it off perfectly and very fast on the medium setting. I love that it has the app and can be controlled away from home and scheduled to be turned on if you are away and have pets. This also works with the Smartthings hub from Samsung and you can add it to your smarthome hub for even easier control using your Galaxy smartphone! Highly reccomend this AC unit!

It is a good air, I can turn it on from anywhere and it tells me when it needs to change the filters.

Great ac unit just what I need for my living room space

Upgraded my old 6000 btu window air conditioner to this 8000 btu GE . It is lighter, easier to install and works great. White color blends in with my decor .

Poor design. When it rains hard and the device is on the rain enters through the top of the device (see photo). When the water enters it reaches the front vents when blowing. The water sprays on anyone near the unit. GE customer service had no fix for this problem. We are within the return period so it is going back for a fun refund.

Ge 8000 btu smart window ac. Excellent product easy install took 5 min and the price was right I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a new ac

After our Central AC failed we needed to cool our bedroom, first purchased a cheap 5000BTU Midea, then a nicer LG (which on sale was $50 more than this unit), returned both because they both short cycled once the temperature was below 70C inside or 75C outside... Finally got this unit and never looked back, will be going to GE directly in the future because this thing is a tank. It doesn't care what temperature it is inside or outside, it just works. It can put out a massive amount of air, on medium it puts out more air than the other units I had on high, and it gets so cold, you can't stand in front of it. We use a thermostat controlled remote power switch, and this thing is capable keeping the room at 64C all day long. Generally it never runs for more than 5 minutes at a time in our 300sf bedroom at 67C. AWESOME! For the price this is a no brainer, get it, hang, set the temp and forget about it, it will just work!

Perfect for my medium sized bedroom that I use for my office and gym. It cools the entire room in about 10-20 mins and is easy to set up.

Great unit. Cools well and was fairly simple to install. The remote control works well. This in in my guest cabin and it is very quiet. I am pmarsed with my purchase

This is one of the best air conditioners that I have purchased. It was easy to put together, I love the settings, and it really cools the room quickly. I bought a total of 5. That is how much I love this "Smart GE" air conditioner.

I bought this air conditioner for a back bedroom that faces the west most of the day and really heats up this air conditioner cooled out within 15 minutes and very quiet and efficient and runs well and even has a remote so I don’t even have to get out of bed to adjust, if you’re looking for air conditioner, this is the one look no further 5 Star

My room is an igloo during these heatwaves! I love it! The app is so easy to use and I’m able to turn it on/off when I’m out. We would not have survived another summer without it I am so happy with my purchase

Window AC works great. Blows ice cold air and keeps the room cool. The WIFI feature is the best thing about this unit being able to control it and cool my room down before i get home from work. Awesomeness.
