We don't rate the sound level of our washers, which means we are unable to provide a decibel level while they are running. Your new washer may sound different from your prior unit because of the newer technology. Clicks, flowing water, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. Please review the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "Top Load Washer - Normal Sounds."
