“Does the water drain automatically from drum after soak cycle before it begins wash cycle.”

• Hi CSmith- Auto Soak option begins with a brief agitation, soaks for a specified period of time, then moves through the rest of the cycle automatically. It does not drain the water from the tub. Thanks for choosing our GE® GTW680BSJWS. Enjoy! SUEatGEA

• Only used the soak feature one time but I believe it did not drain before going into wash cycle. Why not try it on a normal small load to verify if it drains or not?
