When measuring with the leveling legs in the shortest position, the height from the bottom of the foot to the bottom of the door is approx. 9.75”. We appreciate your interest in an accessory pedestal kit and are happy to answer this for you. You can use the GFP1528SNWW 16" pedestal to raise the door opening and height of your washer! This pedestal also includes a storage drawer that is tall enough to fit a full-sized laundry detergent bottle and provides multi-use storage. This washer is equipped with Load-Sensing Adaptive Fill to provide just the right amount of water for best performance and low water usage.   • QuestionJust got washer 7.12.20. Did a normal load using tap cold temp and did not over fill washer. Once finished went to put clothes in dryer. Some clothes soaked and some clothes barely wet, why? This never happened with my Kenmore front load washer.

    • Answer I got my machine on 7-8-20 and have not had this problem. I would have the service people come back out and check it. Did you overload the machine? My problem with mine is they didn't balance it and it threw my detergent to the floor which broke and left me with a liquid soap mess all over the garage. they are coming tomorrow to fix it.

This front load model washer will use an average of 14.4 gallons of water per cycle as compared to a similar capacity top-load style which will use on average 20.6 gallons of water per cycle. The riser increases the height of your washer or dryer by 7 inches, making it easier to load and unload laundry and allowing you to use the top as a folding surface. This riser puts the unit at a comfortable working level that meets ADA standards. The pedestal raises the washer 16 inches in height and accommodates large additive bottles.   • QuestionIn addition to the microban and vent systems, does this washing machine have an outlet for water and lint collected? If so is it in the front?

    • Answer The washer has a separate filter for the discharge line on the bottom right of the machine. The small panel comes off with a flathead screwdriver, then a plastic ramp folds down to expose the filter. The filter unscrews from the housing. Water will come out, but the plastic ramp will direct it toward the front, so have a small bucket ready. The filter is very course, so it traps large debris before it makes it down your discharge hose/drain. It’s recommended to clean out every year. I went 2 years as it’s just me and my wife so the duty cycle isn’t as much as a larger family with more laundry.

We have not tested and therefore cannot recommend any but our own for this washer to sit on. We apologize for the inconvenience of this. The pedestal for this washer is model GFP1528SNWW.   • QuestionWhere is the pedestal drawer for this washer, and why isn’t it showing as an add on? I can’t find the one for this? I have a 27 inch Frigidaire pedestal but I don’t think it will work.

    • Answer We're sorry that finding this pedestal has been harder than we had anticipated. The correct pedestal for this washer is GFP1528SNWW. If you would instead like the optional riser, its part number is GFR0728SNWW. This washer is not compatible with any other brand of pedestals and we do not recommend installing it with one. Model GFW550SSNWW is compatible with the pedestal listed under model number GFP1528SNWW. We would not recommend using any pedestal other than that one; we regret any inconvenience caused, but the model was designed for use with that particular pedestal, and other combinations would not have been tested for safety and reliability, and may not connect properly at all.   • QuestionWhat is the UltraFresh Vent System?

    • Answer It’s a ventilation system that comes on after the wash cycle has ended and you remove your clothes and shut the door. The vent system dries the machine so that you don’t get odor and mold growing in it. You can turn it on and off whenever you want.
