A:Answer I stacked the dryer on top of the washer with the optional stacking kit, and was able to push it into a closet. It was challenging, but I took my time and managed. Here’s a tip to make it easier. The documentation suggests using a 2x4 if the stacked pair needs to be “lifted” on to a drain pan. So I put a 1x6 piece of scrap wood, about 12” long under the front edge of the washer, and it tilts the pair on a slight angle so the rear feet are riding on it’s edge and not fully flat. The washer feet are made out of some type of rubberized material and is a big sticky. The documentation suggests spraying window cleaner on the floor to help with sliding the washer. I used a wet swiffer, but I’m not sure if it made any difference. Also, using the 1x6 helps to lift the washer just enough to adjust the front feet for leveling. When pulling the pair out, I use those orange straps for moving furniture. Just hook it around the front feet, and don’t forget the scrap wood.
