Hi Lora, thanks for your question! When measuring with the leveling legs in the shortest position, the height from the floor to the bottom of the door is 9.75”. The door is 25" in diameter, so you can add another 12.5" to the height from the floor to bottom of door. (so 9.75" + 12.5"). We hope this helps! Stay safe. -Michael@GEA

Please try again later.Hello Lora, If I am understanding your question correctly, the measurement from the floor to the bottom of the door is just under 10" and it is 22.5" from the floor to the center of the door. Since you mentioned having this in your garage and your concern about contact with your car, I thought it would also be helpful to know that with the door open at 90 degrees (meaning that the door is open at it's halfway point) it extends out 24". So, when you are opening the door it will extend out 24" from the body of the washer to it's furthest point.
