“Is the recessed surface of this model Stainless Steel or Black? I am not understanding the specifications listed, seems to be in 2 different ways and the photos also show both. Does the center burner come with both the griddle and grate? Thank you!”

Recessed Surface is Stainless steel and only comes with griddle the middle grate does not come with stove had to order it from GE

The center burner comes with a non-stick griddle. It does not come with the grate, but the grate can be purchased separately. The model number is JXGRATE1.
