A:AnswerNo accessories. If installed following the directions, the weight is on the window sill, and the double-hung window lowers onto the top of the unit to hold it in place. I do not use any outside supports. For the winter, I remove the unit from the window and store it in a closet.

The rubber plug on the bottom should NOT be removed unless absolutely necessary. These are designed to pool up an amount of water and splash it on your compressor to keep things running efficiently. The unit should drain fine by itself without removing the rubber plug

A:AnswerThe filter is located behind a flip-out panel on the lower half of the front of the unit. Very easy to access and yes it is washable. In fact the manual recommends washing it with soap and water when cleaning.
