“Where is vent located and how far from wall should it be ?”

• Hi Debee- Allow 3" clearance on sides and back of freezer. The rear of the unit near the compressor has an opening with no cover, this is normal. To obtain efficient operation, a freezer should be placed in a dry, well ventilated room where the surrounding external temperatures will not exceed 110 degrees F. or fall below 0 degrees F. • It calls for at least 3" clearance all the way around. Vent is on the right side.
