• Hi RC, thanks for taking the time to reach out. The drum light will turn on if the Light pad is pressed or the door is opened. It will turn off when the door is shut, the Light pad is pressed again or after 5 minutes if the door is left open. Hope this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael@GEA

• Yes it does and when you’re done with it slightly leave door cracked open light will automatically go off
