Q: QuestionThe product description says that the power cord is NOT included. This can't be correct, is it? What all, if any, additonal ancillary parts need to purchased?

Most electric dryer power cords are sold separately to ensure that they comply with all state and local wiring codes. These codes can vary significantly from state to state, and even, city to city. Since it is not possible to anticipate the final destination of a dryer as it leaves the assembly line and install the proper cord, the local dealer usually provides the power cord. • A:Answer Wattage is voltage x amperage. W=240 x 25 W = 6000 Of course, watts at any particular moment will depend on heat setting and other factors. And in my experience--it need to be higher! Clothes are never dry after the first cycle, regardless of setting. Don't buy this, we regret doing so.
