A:AnswerHi,
Good question! We thank you for your interest in this dryer and would love to provide you with an answer. Most electric dryer power cords are sold separately to ensure that they comply with all state and local wiring codes. These codes can vary significantly from state to state, and even, city to city. Since it is not possible to anticipate the final destination of a dryer as it leaves the assembly line and install the proper cord, the local dealer usually provides the power cord. Vent kits will have to be purchased separately as well. We hope this helps! Have a great day.

A:AnswerThe default for drying towels is 53 minutes and they were completely dry at the end of the cycle. The wash cycle is different for different items but for towels it is 1 hour and 1 minute long.

A:AnswerCheck the "Exhausting The Dryer" section on pages 25-30 of the Installation Instructions to make sure the dryer venting is correct. Also, make sure the ducting is clean, free of kinks and unobstructed. If this doesn't prove helpful, we recommend that you take advantage of the one year warranty by scheduling a service appointment for one of our Bodewell technicians to assess your unit. You can schedule an appointment by calling us at: 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393). -Don@GEAppliances

A:AnswerWattage is voltage x amperage.
W=240 x 25
W = 6000
Of course, watts at any particular moment will depend on heat setting and other factors.
And in my experience--it need to be higher! Clothes are never dry after the first cycle, regardless of setting. Don't buy this, we regret doing so.
A:AnswerI have washed a king size comforter in this machine. I think ours is quite thick and I had to run an extra rinse and spin cycle to remove some leftover soap.
