- Answer Hi - Thanks for choosing GE Model # GFD55ESSNWW! The amps rating at 240V is 24A (5600 Watts). This dryer should be connected to an individual branch circuit with 10 gauge copper wire minimum through a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker. Install the clothes dryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes. QuestionNever having stacked machines previously, I wonder how hard it is to clean the lint trap or to reach the controls which are at the top of the dryer and therefore pretty high up! Can someone who has GE stackable machines advise how that goes? Thanks

QuestionI see one customer who purchased this last year and their washer doesn't have the silver/chrome ring around the door, stacked washer/dryer set up. I'd prefer for both units have the chrome rings, or without, so they match. Is there an option to choose?

QuestionWhat is the total height of this dryer GFD55ESSNWW with matching Pedestal GFP1528SNWW when legs are fully extended which would be the maximum height when using both.

With the pedestal the total height will be 95.5".
