Screw GE - they will always answer that the trim kit is model specific and you have to buy their new kit. Buy a new trim kit off of ebay for just a little over $100. It is ridiculous that the older trim kits do not fit the new ones. That is why our landfills are full.

Our trim kits are model specific, so a new trim kit would need to be purchased with a new microwave. This PCWK22U1WBB microwave model would be a good replacement for your current unit and the compatible trim kits for this model are JX7227DLBB (27") and JX7230DLBB (30").
