Screw GE - they will always answer that the trim kit is model specific and you have to buy their new kit. Buy a new trim kit off of ebay for just a little over $100. It is ridiculous that the older trim kits do not fit the new ones. That is why our landfills are full.

The PCWK22U1WBB model is designed for built-in application. You will also need the built-in kit designed for this type of installation. The compatible kits are the 27" - JX7227DLBB (Black) or the 30" - JX7230DLBB (Black).To determine which size kit to use, measure the overall width of your microwave including the trim on each side. -Vikki@GEAppliances
