“Confused............the upper oven claims to be a microwave. Totally different than the microwave we are familiar with. The new unit has metal insides, metal circular rack yet you can't put metal products inside to heat. Convention does the heating??”

Hello Donald, Thanks so much for reaching out. We'll be happy to provide some clarity. The upper portion can function as both a convection oven as well as a microwave. The metal rack should only be used when using the convection bake. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
