“The height on the bottom oven states 12.5 inches. Is this total height or usable height? That is, can I cook a turkey that is 12.5 inches high or does it need to be under 10.5 inches to allow 1 inch on top and 1 inch on bottom.”

From the floor rack to about one inch below the broiler coil is 9 inches. I roasted a 20 lb. turkey without a rack & probably could have gone up to 23 lbs. The turkey came out great. My 12 qt. stock pot with a lid fits, a 10 qt. graniteware roaster fits. You won't have trouble finding space for big cooking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The lower oven interior dimensions are: 24" W x 12-1/2" H x 16" D. The upper oven interior dimensions are: 24" W x 8 3/4" H x 17 7/8" D. The turkey will need to be able to fit in the interior dimensions of the ovens.
