Department of Energy standards for water usage have changed over time, and our smart technology helps make sure performance isn’t affected when less water is used; the unit is a high efficiency machine, and doesn’t require as much water to provide effective cleaning action. That said, we do also provide a Deep Fill option, for cases where more water than usual may be needed – this allows you to customize your water level easily. The inside height/reach is 66.4 inches and that is the shortest reach in comparison with other similar washers. The Microban Technology is an antimicrobial protection that is built into key washer components to help prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria in areas like the tub, dispenser drawer and drain hose. Most large comforters and blankets will wash well in our washers, as long as the comforter fits below the balance ring of the tub and isn’t stuffed in tightly. The thickness, density and overall size of the comforter can affect how well it fits. If the item fit in your previous washer, we recommend getting a model with a similar cubic foot capacity.
