“I saw a previous question about the dryer vent being left or right. Does it not hook up in the back? My unit will need to slide into a built-in area that I don’t think would allow side venting. The dryer vent would need to connect to the back.”

yes if you like sides you can only you can open the knockout like electric box just take off any side and add exhaust duct and that set.

It does come out the back but it has a 90 degree adapter that keeps the vent close to the machine

This lovely dryer offers 4-Way venting which includes rear; right; left & bottom. -Vikki@GEAppliances
