“The Specs indicate that the cord is 72" (6 Feet) long. My receptacle is slightly farther away from my window than this. Can an extension cord be used with this unit? Thanks!”

We appreciate your interest. Our room air conditioners must be plugged directly into a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. We also do not recommend using an extension cord or plugging the unit into a surge protector or multi-outlet adaptor.
