Hello. Thanks for checking with us! There are no known compatibility issues with GFCI. Our air conditioners have a built-in LCDI (Leakage Current Detection Interrupter) on the power cord, which is a device that senses current leakage flowing between or from the integral cord conductors and interrupts the circuit at a predetermined level of current leakage. We do not anticipate any issues with water dripping on the floor as long as the unit is tilted to the outside, the drain plug is plugged in, and the air conditioner is leveled from left to right.
