No, it is not set up for constant water pressure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are clever and use the right size hose, I’m sure it could be done, but the side tank may be all you’ll need to start. You might not be able to eat/use all the ice that the unit produces — unless you have a party. BUT, you can simply “harvest” the ice the day before and have enough for most size gatherings. Put the ice in sandwich or freezer bags (not a plastic container) so you can easily tap on a counter to loosen the ice to go in a cup.

Both the reservoir below the ice bin and the side tank options seem to be low water pressure systems. I don't think this unit can be safely connected to a water line without adding additional risk. Just my opinion, but hope this helps. That said, there's nothing in the documentation that suggests this can be done or is supported.
