“Main wash compartment does not open during the washing cycle.Why? Nothing is blocking this from opening.When I open the main compartment by pressing the button on the side of the dispenser, the cascade packet is open & messy..I must clean it out.Why?”

Came here looking for info about this issue. Although my wash compartment opens without fail, I consistently find the remnants of the detergent packet in the compartment each time. This suggests to me a problem with SOMETHING, but I cannot find the issue addressed anywhere.
