• I wondered the same thing. Upon checking the model on the Gigabyte website the supported memory list shows only DDR5.

• Yes...only DDR5 memory can be used. Do to the newness of DDR5 the Aorus Master will only accept and work with 2 RAM sticks and for the boards BIOS to recognize the speed of the RAM your purchased. If you populate all 4 RAM slots the Master will defaut you to about 4000Mhz speed even if you bought RAM modules with 6000Mhz. The master runs best with (2) RAM 5200Mhz modules so this speed is what you have to buy!
