If temperature drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, the batteries will not charge. Once the battery drains the cameras will go offline. Support says you have to uninstall them, get them back to 32 degrees or higher, and reinstall them. Why not just advertise, NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NORTHERN CLIMATES?

Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use and you can use a compatible weatherproof cable (sold separately). Also, Nest Cam (battery) has an IP54 rating, and is designed to work within its operating temperature range of -4° F to 104° F (-20° C to 40° C). It's water resistant and can withstand dust, rain, and snow.
